» Mossig Chess Club - Présentation

Created in 1987, the Scharrach-Irmstett Chess Club grew with members from neighbouring villages, including Wasselonne and Marlenheim. It then took as its name that of the river Mossig that crosses all these towns.

Since 1997, the club organises the annual Wasselonne International Chess Open Tournament that traditionnally takes place early august

In 2011, we introduced the André Guillot Trophey that awards the B Open winner to show his gratitude to its founder late president.

There are more adventures on a chessboard than on all the seas of the World.
