» Mossig Chess Club - Présentation
Created in 1987, the Scharrach-Irmstett Chess Club grew with members from neighbouring villages, including Wasselonne and Marlenheim. It then took as its name that of the river Mossig that crosses all these towns. ![]() Since 1997, the club organises the annual Wasselonne International Chess Open Tournament that traditionnally takes place early august
In 2011, we introduced the André Guillot Trophey that awards the B Open winner to show his gratitude to its founder late president. There are more adventures on a chessboard than on all the seas of the World. The Club record on the French Federation website. |
